Hey guys! Sorry for being MIA...I was out of the country for about a month and didn't get a chance to blog! So here we go...Concealers! Why? Because that is the main product I am usually asked about and also because I want to make sure everyone is using it and in the right way. First off, you have to pick a concealer thats right for you. How much coverage do you want/need? If you have dark circles, make sure you go with a yellow/peach toned concealer and tap it (not rub) underneath your eyes from the inner corner of your eye to the outter corner. Then when you put your foundation on, go over the concealer a little bit to hide the peach and even your skintone. You may also use a foundation a bit lighter under your eyes to brighten them up as well (make sure you don't go too light to avoid racoon eyes). Also, remember to layer instead of putting on a thick layer, which will cause creases. Always set your concealer in with translucent powder for long lasting crease-less look. Below are some of my favorite concealers I've worked with and its uses. If you guys have any questions or concerns, please feel free to let me know. Thanks!
Laura Mercier Secret Concealer - Creamy texture with strong pigment...covers great! It is also infused with vitamins A & E so over time it provides elasticity to your skin as well. One of my favs!
Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer - Has the perfect amount of yellow to cover dark circles. Comes in many different shades and glides on very smoothly (gentle to the eye). Also comes in a little package with loose powder which is super convenient!
MakeUp Forever Lift Concealer - Medium coverage but really does wonders! This product is amazing because its an all in one! Hides darkness, reduces puffiness and hides the fine lines and wrinkles by tightening the undereyes. Lasts all day!
Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat - This product is more of a highlighter than a concealer. Although it only has some coverage, it's peach tone hides away the darkness. After you apply your concealer, dab a little bit of touch Eclat in the corner and halfway underneath the eye to brighten it up. I LOVE this product!
