I finally got to play around with the raved about Make Up Forever: Ultra HD Concealers. Concealers are always a sensitive subject for makeup artists because we have a love hate relationship with them. We love how they wake up our look and hate how it accentuates our fine lines and wrinkles. But there's usually a "fine line" between them ;) The thicker the consistency, the better the coverage. However, thicker usually means...cake!
However, to find a concealer thats thick enough to cover but light enough in texture to spread thin, then you have a winner! This definitely goes in my box of least-creasing concealers! They are not only super pigmented, but the color schemes they launched help make our lives so much easier! Make Up Forever launched 10 shades divided into 2 categories: correctors and concealers.
Two categories of the HD concealers come in reds and yellows. The red shades are to be used to correct while the yellow shades are used to conceal and highlight. On the color wheel, red tones correct blue/purple shades and while we have learned that yellow shades enhance ones features. When you layer correctors and concealers, make sure your product use is even more minimal!
Make Up Forever has made it convenient enough to label the shades in "R" and "Y". Unfortunately, the shade selections are minimal, hopefully they do expand! Tip: The tube has a very easy application. It has a plastic nozzle that can be applied directly to the skin. Make little dots across your underage and use your fingertips to tab and blend or a beauty blender.
Not only do these concealers help instantly, they also help in the long run. They are infused with green algae and amino acids to help combat dark circles and an asian berry extract to help boost radiance. They launched in January retailing at $27 each and is available at Sephora, Sephora.com, MakeUpForever boutiques, MakeUpForever.com and Naimie's Beauty Center.
