This week I got to meet up with the owner of Lorac Cosmetics, Carol Shaw, who showed me the goodies from her new Spring collection. Lorac does this meeting at every seasonal launch and its a perfect opportunity to not only see her but get to know the products beyond the surface; the inspiration behind each launch! Sheer Porefection Foundation, Color Source Buildable Blush, 4 new shades of Alter Ego Lipsticks and her Nude Necessities palette (only sold at Ulta):
Color Source Buildable Blush: These blushes are adorable and literally have all blush hues covered with these 10 shades. From silky-smooth matte to satin finish. I do not have swatches of the blushes as they are pigmented as you see them. Although super pigmented, blushes always come up differently on different skin tones. $22
Nude Necesseties: This palette has a gorgeous variation of subtle golds and nudes. This palette is a perfect daytime eye look with no dark shades for contrast. This palette is ideal for that perfect red carpet look! Retails: $30 at Ulta.
SHEER POREfection Foundation: In 12 shades, Lorac has created a sheer, yet buildable foundation that gives your skin a beautiful satin glow! If you love the "no makeup-makeup" finish, this foundation is for you. Carol said, "If a bb cream, cc cream and a tinted moisturizer had a baby, this is it" I thought that was the best way to explain it to you as well ;) Retails: $34
Alter Ego Lipstick: 4 new shades launching to the Alter Ego collection! I got the entire 20th Anniversary collection around the Holidays and I am obsessed with every shade and these nudes are just in time for Spring! Swatches below. Retails: $17
