Have a lot of eyeshadows and running out of space in your organizer? Here is a quick video my sister Marina made on de-potting MAC eyeshadows. Marina has SO much makeup, her bathroom is overflowing. She used to work at Naimie's Beauty Center...so you can only imagine! She has started her "Spring Cleaning" on her makeup and her makeup kit literally looks like half of what it was, all organized and tidy! First you will need a flat iron, a sharp tool and wax paper. Pop out the plastic the shadow sits on. Then place the plastic in the flat iron (on top of a wax paper). Give it about 20 seconds and pop it out from the back (there should be a small hole to push through). If it's still tough, put it on the iron for another 15-20 seconds until the glue is soft enough to loosen up and try pushing it through again. You can then place them in your MAC empty palettes or a Z palette (sold at Naimie's). You can also use this same process by using a little over, but I find this to be much easier. Happy de-potting!
