Hello to my skincare fiends! Have you met Caudalie? Well, she is my current besty. I usually cheat on skincare as you know and go back and forth with many different lines...but I have been truly committed to her for a few weeks now and I can't imagine leaving her. Ha! In all seriousness, this stuff is amazing! Like I mentioned in a previous post, I am attracted to natural products now. Caudalie comes from grape seed extracts and has all these amazing essential oils. What you won't find in here are chemicals, mineral oils, and etc. <--- These products may make your skin feel good, temporarily, but in actuality, it will ruin your skin later. They will clog your pores, ruin the tissue and animal testing? No thank you. I first started using their Beauty Elixer which I love love love. It is a hydrating spray that I spray on one too many times throughout the day lol. Especially, since the heat has been melting down my face, the mist feels so amazing and smells so refreshing. It has the same idea as the Evian facial mists, except Evian is just water. The beauty elixer has like 30 essential oils in there, crazy! Now, I do have a combination/oily skin and this should get me more oily, but it really doesn't. It soaks into your skin and doesn't set on your face. It smooths away fine lines, tightens pores and gives your face a boost of radiance. For the month of October, 25% of proceeds will be donated to Breast Cancer Awareness Charities. How awesome is that? So, get your elixir today! As I mentioned in previous posts as well, if I love ONE thing in a skincare line, turns me on to their whole line...so I broke down and got their best product yet! Premier Cru: The Cream. My friend Mallory from Naimie's swore by this and couldn't stop talking about it. I took a sample from her (of course ;) but it took me 2 days to go back and actually buy the full size bottle because I couldn't wait to have it. Feels amazing on the skin and it is a serum and moisturizer in one. Hey, if I can skip a step in my evening regime, I am happy. Yes, it is a bit pricy but serums are usually pricy and this is both products in one, so it's totally worth it. Like I've mentioned before, be frugal with makeup if you have to, but not skincare. Not that there is no inexpensive effective skincare. But I do feel like these companies spent a lot of money into testing and researching that they must have something those other lines wont. The other 2 products that I bought from their line was their Instant Foaming Cleanser and Moisturizing Matifying Fluid. I do have to use makeup remover for my eyes and then wash my face with the cleanser because it doesn't remove eye-makeup so well, but I'd rather do that and use a natural facewash to rub my face with. So, I do the Premier Cru at night and the Moisturizing Matifying Fluid in the morning. As I mentioned before, I am a little bit more oily in the t-zone and this moisturizer helps prevent that tremendously! These are products that work best for my skin. If you do want to try their line out, either go to Naimie's and ask one of the girls to help you or Sephora has it as well. You can also go to their website and the website will actually guide you into the product needed for your skin through a filter you can use to identify you skin. If you are not using an all natural line, you should really look into it and consider it. The type of ingredients some of these unnatural lines have is pretty scary if you research it. Hope you guys try it out and if you do, please let me know what you think or if there are other items that you would recommend as well. I just realized I wrote another novel. I should really start writing books instead of blogs...I talk too much. Have a great day!
